In order to refer a product to be purchased from Amazon and not from your Shopify store, follow this guide:
1. Make sure you completed the Amazon registration process
2. Make sure you updated your Amazon region and Affiliate id on Zonify's Settings page:
3. Go to "Import list", choose the product you want to refer to be purchased from Amazon, and select "affiliate" from the "Business model" column:
Visit the product page of this product and click on the "View on Amazon" button.
The Amazon product page will open in a new tab with your affiliate link which includes tag=yourAmazonID in the URL, and this means that your associate ID is being sent in the link and you will get a commission for the sale.
How to check if your affiliate link is working properly?
Visit the Amazon's Link Checker Tool and paste the Amazon product URL that includes your affiliate ID (screenshot below)
In case you get an error, please connect to your amazon affiliate account and make sure that the affiliate id you copied to Zonify settings page is correct.
Very Important: Always make sure that your product affiliate link works before promoting or sending traffic to your product page.
